Itinerary
Chapel of St. John (Mamma Mia Chapel)
This magnificent chapel of St.John or Agios Ioannis sits on top of a massive rock formation while gently resting on the sea. It truly is love at first site when you first glimpse the "Rock" as I love calling it. At the very top, and as you pass through the arched entrance, you can feel proud of yourselves, having climbed all the way up, taken the same steps and passed through the very same arch that some of the top Hollywood actors have passed. Whether you chose to see The Movie before you reached here, planning to see it afterwards, or simply don't much care about the notorious Mamma Mia movie, one thing is certain; you now know why this place was chosen!!!Kastani Beach
Kastani is one of the loveliest beaches in Skopelos, with lovely crystal waters and white sand, located 15 km west of Skopelos Town. It has a remarkable environment surrounded by pine trees that reach the edge of the shore. Its majestic landscape has made a worldwide tour with the American film "Mamma Mia", most of the scenes were shot here. Kastani becomes busy in summer, but not as busy as Elios or Klima. A sloping dirt road, just 500 meters from the bus route, will lead you to the beach.Agnontas Beach
Agnondas is the third port of Skopelos where ships and ferries anchor when the winds prevent them from reaching the other ports of the island. It is a picturesque coastal settlement built around a beautiful region of pine trees forests. The pristine beaches with the emerald waters and the impressive surroundings charm every visitor. At the port of the settlement many boats moor and private yachts during the summer season. It is located 8 km south of Skopelos Town.

Very fun, our guide was great. Enough time at each place, not over spent (time wise). Not really time for buying lunch, maybe something small. Bring snacks

What a fab day! Our guide Nick was funny and informative, and our driver Yiannis was excellent at manoeuvring the bus around narrow roads, keeping us safe. With ABBA music on the bus from the start and stops at iconic film spots, what more could you ask for. Highly recommended.

Amazing day! Both the tour guide and bus driver were lovely, very accommodating. The views and stops on the bus were so beautiful, and you get plenty of time at each one to see everything you want to see, or relax. It was also great to learn more about the island itself. The Mamma Mia songs on the bus is a bonus!! Would recommend to anyone visiting Skopelos.

If you’re planning a visit to Skopelos and are even remotely a fan of Mamma Mia, let me make this easy for you: book the Mamma Mia Island Tour with Dolphin of Skopelos IKE. I found it through Groupon and it turned out to be one of the most unforgettable and heartwarming experiences of my entire trip. Mamma Mia is my favorite movie—I’ve seen it countless times and thought I knew everything about it. But this tour completely blew me away. Led by the incredibly talented and charismatic guide, Nick, I learned so many behind-the-scenes secrets, little-known facts about the actors, the script, and the filming process. Nick’s storytelling was captivating—equal parts humorous, emotional, and inspiring. He brought every location and anecdote to life in such a personal way that it felt like I was part of the movie’s magic. Thank you, Nick and Yannis, for a truly magical experience. I’ll never forget it—and I’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely loved this tour. The guide, Denise was so knowledgeable and friendly. Loved the music from the film. Scenery stunning. Driver friendly and it felt very safe. Highly recommended. Denise recommended the best salad in the fish taverna for lunch and it was 👌🏼 Highlight of our holiday!

We had an absolutely incredible time on the Mamma Mia tour! From start to finish, the energy was high, the sights were breathtaking, and the vibe was pure fun. Our guide was fantastic — upbeat, engaging, and full of interesting facts and local stories that made the whole experience feel extra special. You could really tell they loved what they do, and it made all the difference. A huge shoutout to our driver, Casta — simply amazing! Not only was the ride smooth and comfortable, but Casta’s professionalism and friendly attitude added so much to the day. We always felt safe and well taken care of. If you’re a Mamma Mia fan (or just love beautiful views, great company, and a touch of musical magic), this tour is a must. Highly recommend!
